PGRC Sub UNIT

Data Management Unit

Data management unit of PGRC has been conserving and maintaining plant genetic data since 1988 as passport, conservation and characterized data. These data receiving in to the PGR data base system from Exploration, Conservation, Evaluation and Characterization units respectively.

Different crop categories of wild, weedy, land races and improved germplasm were included to the computer base system.

Following service are also extended by the data management unit.

  1. Data management of projects which are handling by PGRC (International and national projects).
  2. Provide information and data on request in PGR regulations.
