Ensure the availability of quality seed and planting material to satisfy the demand of local grower through the development of local seed production industry with the participation of public and private sector.

  • Ensure timely availability of Quality Seed & Planting Materials.
  • Production and Supply of National Basic Seed Requirement of Paddy, OFC, Vegetable and Potato.
  • Production and Supply of a Share of the National demand of Fruit plant.
  • Production & Supply of a Share of National Certified/Standard seed Requirement of Paddy, OFC and Vegetable Crops.
  • Fulfillment of National/Certified Seed Requirement through Co-ordination of stakeholders of the Industry.
  • To overcome Crisis situations through maintenance of buffer seed stocks.
