Breeder seed production of long age rice varieties. (Bg 38, Bg 745, Bg3-5, Bg 407) : Since the breeder seeds production is the initial step of seed paddy production program, providing high quality purified seeds is very important. Therefore breeder seeds are produce according to the SCS accepted standards.

Germplasm multiplication and conservation : With the objective of conserving rice germplasm for the future use we multiplied and conserved more than 800 rice accessions including traditional , old improved, exotic and advanced breeding lines for a year.

Purity maintenance and multiplication of traditional rice varieties : Quality assured seeds are less accessible for the farmers interested in traditional rice. We produce pure seeds of 12 traditional rice varieties to supply farmer demand.

Development of quality rice varieties through mutation : The program was initiated to develop quality varieties by induce mutation of 3 rice varieties(Suwandal, Bg 94-1, Bg 1165-6) through gamma irradiation.
