Agriculture Video and Photography
The video section of the National Agricultural Information and Communication Center (NAICC) conducts the eye-opening media mission to disseminate the new agriculture technologies of the Department of Agriculture, the success stories of the farmer’s and the farmer’s societies who won the agricultural sector. In addition the video section has been strengthened with the digital Audio recording studio and the photographic activities.
The agricultural television programs “Mihikatha Dinuwo”, “Uyarum Ulavum”- tamil programe and the Govibimata Arunalu are produced by the NAICC video section and telecasted on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the week.“Mihikatha Dinuwo”and the Govibimata Arunalu programs are telecasted through the National Rupavahni Channel and the “Uyarum Ulavum”- Tamil program is telecasted through the Wasantham TV channel of the Independent Television network. We have selected the secondary media to disseminate the agricultural technology through video programs on Peo TV, Dialog TV, Haritha TV, Krushi TV Youtube and the face book .
Therefore, it is gratifying that we have been able to sharpen the wisdom of farmers through the agricultural television programs produced by the Video Division and provide visual media care for the development of the local agricultural economy.

The use of social media can be identified as the easiest way to reach agricultural technology programs to the people under the brand name Facebook and YouTube, Accordingly Agriculture technologies communicate through agricultural messages to the public as short technical video programs.
Krushi TV was started with a special focus on the youth community and it hopes to inculcate the youth who are currently leaving agriculture, into newer agro-technologies using new agricultural technologies.
Also, Krushi TV will undoubtedly be the local turning point in providing agricultural information and communication to all Facebook and You tube subscribers. The fact that the number of Krushi TV subscribers, which already has a large audience, has exceeded one point is the progress that Krushi TV has made in a very short period of time.
